Askar Kaldybayev is a graduate of Kazakh State Law Academy and a Bolashak scholarship recipient (studied at Bremen University, Germany). He has 25 years of experience as a lawyer, civil law lecturer, and researcher, having worked both in national companies and the private sector.
Specializing in civil law, he is an expert in contract law, corporate law, and arbitration. He possesses extensive knowledge of commercial relations and a high level of legal expertise. He has contributed to the development of laws in the fields of subsoil use, arbitration, agglomerations, public administration, the quasi-public sector, and banking..
He has served as an arbitrator in more than 70 disputes involving companies from Germany, China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
Askar has authored over 60 publications and presentations on corporate law, contract law, arbitration, and justice system development.
He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Constitutional Court of Kazakhstan, the Scientific Advisory Board of the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan, a board member of the Turkic Arbitration Association, an expert at the Institute of Parliamentarism, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).
